“Where do I start, this holiday for me started 37 weeks before as I was one of the early people to book and I had been excited from that day forward. I decided I would drive to the holiday park dressed when I arrived I was in a real happy place walking into the reception / bar area was a little daunting as I did not see many people dressed and I was. So I just embraced the moment strolled into reception and checked In the reception staff were great and made me feel welcome I got my welcome pack and off I went. Found my caravan which I was in for 3 nights and I was impressed, but the adrenaline was high and I just wanted to get out and Mingle. The first night was a bit nervy but once into the venue it turned out to be amazing all the staff were very professional and it was real nice to be part of this event I made some amazing friends which will be friends for life. On the Monday I had to change vans and I was impressed that I checked out at 10am and by 11am I had my keys to the next caravan which was located nice and close to the main venue. The rest of the week went really well with lots going on to keep you busy. There was some great entertainment throughout and the man in the DJ box bill if I remember correctly was a star. On the last night there was a big raffle and the main prize was a holiday for next years event and amazingly I was the lucky winner. The only sad part was leaving at the end but with every piece of sadness there comes happiness and this will be the return in 2024.

“Myself and my wife had decided to look at finding somewhere we could go for a short break, somewhere that I could be myself without feeling uncomfortable and judged for what I am. We came across your website trans-holiday.co.uk whilst searching for somewhere suitable, I had never been dressed before in the company of like minded others and was very nervous on the lead up to the weekend, both for myself and my wife. I was not sure what to expect as this was after all a caravan park with staff that may not understand us and guest from all walks of life, could these few days put our relationship back years or make me question my own sanity.
Oh How wrong I was, from the moment we walked into reception and talked to the helpful and friendly staff you could tell that this was going to be a great place to stay. The caravan itself was clean, tidy and well laid out, with plenty of wardrobe space for the months’ supply of clothing I had brought with me, you could park your car next to your caravan, the decking area and the hot tub looked so inviting. On the first evening, we made our way to the green room and sat at a table just away from the others, but within minutes we were talking and laughing with the friendly groups of ladies and it all felt so relaxing as if we had known everyone for years, Lindzy got us straight into the fun with the cocktail making (sorry you had to taste ours, it was horrid). The entertainment laid on was great with a balance of fun and games, some great singers. The 80’s evening was fantastic, I even got on the dancefloor, something that I never do.
Sadly for us, we had only booked for the weekend, so it was all over too soon. We have both made some great friends, everyone was so friendly and just enjoying themselves, the makeup tutorial with Sasha was a great way to learn some new ideas and discover new products. I feel this short time has helped both myself and my wife understand and we could see that this is a great community to be a part of. We have already booked for 2024, the full week, and cannot wait to meet up again.

Well, what a week! I went with my partner to show support, not really expecting to have a good time. I thought it would be a nice quiet break, with a chance for Jodie to relax and dress all day and night just to see where it was going to lead. How wrong I was. I had an amazing week, I met some wonderful friendly open people. It was a great opportunity for me to discuss our situation with like minded people who had either been through transition or are just thinking about it. There were a lot of girls at different stages of their journey with their partners and family. It was the first time I had been able to speak to anybody about what was going on in our lives which was so therapeutic. We have already booked for next year and can’t wait. The site is lovely with very friendly and understanding staff, the entertainment was brilliant, I just love Dino Racing!.

1. 10/10 for the concept drive and determination to get this event off the ground!
2. Mill Rythe site, a beautiful kept well organised and very clean site the venues were all of a good standard
3. Mill Rythe accommodation
All of the accommodation we saw was top notch all finished to a very nice standard with lots of lovely extras like hot tubs. Also, full marks for brilliant central heating in the caravans.
4. Mill Rythe staff – we had an excellent welcome from all the staff we interacted with throughout our stay. First night bar was short staffed but was quickly rectified the following day. ( We preferred visiting the bar rather than table service)
Bill the entertainment manager and Emma went the extra mile for everyone
4. Entertainment was really good varied fun afternoon and excellent live acts
5. The holiday was a success beyond anyone’s expectations and I’m not at all surprised that TH24 sold so quickly.”

Well where do we start…. what an amazing time at TH23, it was perfect and Lindzy organised it amazingly.. The sense of freedom was wonderful and making friends along the way. Sarah was able to be herself out in public for the first time, went to table top sales , had a makeover and went to the make up tutorial hosted by Sasha. Sarah gained so much confidence in those four days and Gemma very much liked the hot tub 😂❤️❤️

I Still can’t believe how free and safe I felt right from the moment I booked in to the morning I checked out.
I arrived at my caravan and wow just so clean and well designed, modern and a very efficient central heating system, simply gorgeous, and to top it all the hot tub, spent many hours in there with my friends just chatting away, looking at the night starts and simply relaxing.
My confidence was blooming, to such an extent I even went to Lidl’s and Tesco with some of the different friends I had sharing with me,
without a care in the world, that is thanks to this holiday, it gave me so much confidence.
As for the resort and staff, just simply absolutely fantastic, even the ground workers waved and said good morning of afternoon, just so nice.
Bill the entertainment manager is awesome, and such a lovely guy, all he wanted to do was make sure we all had a great time, to all of the staff, I love you all xx
Re the entertainment, where to start.. well easy everything was just fabulous, its going to be hard to top it next year, but I’m sure Lindzy and the team will come up with something even more amazing.
I can’t believe, I actually cried in the car when I had to leave, I was so sad to leave, but so happy, I had the best holiday of my life…
In conclusion the only way to describe this holiday is memorable, amazing, fantastic, friendly and something never to be missed. I will never forget it.

I enjoyed every minute of my holiday the only disappointment was that I didn’t do the full week, all the activities felt inclusive with no pressure, the evening acts that I saw were outstanding and a perfect way to kick off each nights party, The themed parties were so much fun.
All this and then you had all the amazing guests, everyone was so friendly and it was a pleasure to meet and make new friends.
Having an on site makeup artist was great, not only to help me look good but taking a one on one tutorial gave me the confidence going forward to apply my own makeup so much better than I had being doing which in turn made me much more confident in going out.

“I was very fortunate to attend the trans holiday at hayling island November 2023, and wow so many people there, all dressed 24/7.
Facility was superb, clean, light and bright, in fact the whole park and caravans were superb. Entertainment I had to go home for a rest. Staff were amazing friendly and welcoming, nothing was any trouble for them. A brilliant holiday, one I wish was longer.
The organizers have to be commended on such a superb event. Thank you to all involved looking forward to returning.

“My partner and I attended the Trans holiday at Mill Rythe this year, this was my first opportunity to go out and be myself for the whole week. On arrival the staff were very friendly, made me feel welcome which helped with my nerves. I meet so many wonderful people, the other girls and their partners were amazing, friendly and supportive, so good to be able to talk to other girls going through a similar journey. The entertainment was really good, themed nights were the perfect chance to dress up and dance the night away. There are some LGBT friendly pubs in local area if wish to venture out (another first for me).
This has been one of the best holidays I have ever had because I could be me.
